It’s that time of year to review your benefit choices and ensure they reflect your personal needs. Only you know the benefits package that’s right for you! We’re here to walk you through essential steps and deadlines. 

 

2023 benefit plan details and rates will be out shortly

Carefully review your 2023 benefit plan offerings and rates since we have added plans, ended plans, and updated rates that will impact your paycheck. 

  • BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York (BCBS of WNY) medical plans will now be called Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York (Highmark BCBS of WNY).  Highmark BCBS of WNY has become an affiliate of Highmark Health. The medical plan designs have not You can still use these plans nationwide through the same provider and hospital networks. There is an increase in premiums to these plans due to claims experience, so please review your plan choices and review the new 2023 rates.
  • Vision premium plan costs through VSP will not change.
  • Guardian dental premiums will not change.
  • TransAmerica hospital indemnity plan premiums will not change.

OPEN ENROLLMENT DATES TO CHOOSE YOUR 2023 BENEFITS

Monday, November 7, 2022 –  Friday, November 18, 2022

This is the only time you can make changes, enroll in, or terminate your benefits for 2023.

Starting November 7, we encourage you to go online to www.employeenavigator.com or call 1-888-592-1840. Additional notifications will be sent at that time. Even if you choose to waive coverage, you MUST log in or call between November 7-18.

You MUST actively enroll in your 2023 benefits during Open Enrollment.

If you do not actively enroll:

    • Your current 2022 health, dental, and ancillary benefits will automatically roll over into 2023 at the new rates. You will not be able to decline these benefits after Open Enrollment.
    • 2022 Dependent Care FSA, HSA, and commuter and transit elections DO NOT automatically roll over and will end on December 31, 2022. IRS regulations require you to actively enroll each year in these benefits.

A benefit coach will walk you through the enrollment process. Both English and Spanish-speaking coaches are available.
